Effects of Pandemic on Special Education Teachers Teaching Hearing Impaired (HI) Students

The goal of this paper was to determine the effects pandemic on Special Education teachers teaching hearing impaired (HI) students. This qualitative-quantitative research designed see how COVID-19 affected who were educating hearing-impaired students during mandated school closures in March 2020A three-part standardized and customized questionnaire with open-ended interview questions given special education from three selected schools Cebu Province. Participant responses online revealed that there is a lack preparation which contributes their stress. In addition, assessing Hearing Impaired distance learning very hard establish due exposure before. Also, results indicated find it extremely stressful HI COVID-19. With findings study, leaders may be able develop protective factors help foster resilience time pandemic. School administrators should facilitate improving skills through assessment needs weaknesses delivery instruction online. includes giving relevant trainings regarding tools for strategies would them effectively teach lessons.
